stupid question- spark plug wires
ok guys i know this sounds really retarded, but i have never done spark plug wires before and i have the thunder racing otvc kit with taylor wires and opti terminals. i know the spark plug just sticks in the 90degree end of the wire, but how do i do the terminals? i have little metal clamps and rubber boots. do i just shove the wire through the boot, measure and cut/strip the wire and pull the boot back over it? or measure first, cut strip, stick the wire through, put the boot on, clamp it? i dont really understand how the wire makes contanct once it plugs in the opti. is the wire clamp part supposed to be sticking out of the boot, or pushed down to the back of the boot, or what? thanks guys

Porksoda's links have lots of detail.
To answer your question.
Once you fold the wire over, you crimp a teminator over it and slide it into the boot.
When you plug it into the opti, the terminator makes contact.
Always measure twice, cut once.

I just received this kit today and was looking through the box of wires and noticed that I had 8 wires with the 90 degree spark plug boot and one extra wire with no boot at all, just the wire sticking out at both ends. Is this to replace the ignition coil wire? Sorry if this sounds dumb.
BTW porksoda, thanks for posting that link, that will really help when i install these.
