LT1 internals... I'm trying to do a budget build on a LT1 that i just picked up... I want to build a 355 but how safe is it to re-use a stock rod and crank or shoul i just blow out the bank and just go bigor go home type biuld...

I'd say it all depends on your final goal of the whole project. If you're looking to make 350-400hp then the stockers are fine as long as they're in good shape. Get the rods shot peened, put arp bolts in them and get decent pistons to go with them. Have the whole thing balanced good and you're set!
