I am quite sure the bracket will fit an LT1 BUT wether the unit will fit on the bracket once it is all in the car and wether the belt comes close to lining up are the real questions to be answered.
I think I said this on the b-body board. STOP and try and learn a little. You leap from halfassed mod to halfassed mod wil dismal results. Buying parts wont help you unless you get a better understanding and start making better decisions on what to buy.

the holes in the block itself and the heads are the same. but the water pump holes are diffrent, the LT1 uses a 3 bolt per side pattern, a standard SBC only has 2 each side and the water pump on an LT1 the bolts are longer, you could probably modify the bracket to fit but you could also check ebay for a bracket, there on ebay every now and then you just have tot keep your eyes open.
