Injectors

Ford cars operate on a lower fuel pressure, 39 I believe, so the SVO injectors have their 24# rating at that lower pressure. If you put them in a GM with a higher fuel pressure, they act like a larger injector. The SVO 24# is more like a 26 or 27# in a GM.

If FORD did one thing right, it's injectors. They are great. They have 4 spray holes which creates better air-fuel ionization for better combution. They're a quick and slick upgrade for any of out cars. Not only that, as mentioned, they run lower PSI, 36psi or so. So a 24# SVO in our car is a 25.5#~ (I think it's like 25.25, there's a formula for it). So you get a bit more than what you paid for by going SVO. I love mine, and when I put mine in, over my stock (which were 22s not 24s, since mines a 93) I noticed a difference. Throttle response was better as was a bit more go-go.
