how do you check to make sure your radiator cap is good?

just get a new one if you are concerned, they're cheap.

I imagine with the pressure its under you would notice it leaking either air or fluid if it didn't seal correctly. Like 97blackz28 said, there pretty cheap if your that concerned that it is bad.
