Guys If I took and Lt1 and put on the GMPP carbed Intake and fitted a old school distributor, I would need all the wiring harness and PCM would I. Im only considering it because I want to swap it into a fox body and I dont want to have to deal with the PCM and all that crap.

yep. but i honestly dont see why you would do this. unless you just want to say you have an lt1 or if you got it for free. 1st gen sbcs have cheaper parts and much more aftermarket support, and can make just as much power as an lt1 for cheaper. you also couldnt use an lt1 transmission (4l60e or t-56) unless you get a standalone harness/computer ($$). if youre going carbed, i say go with gen 1 sbc. just something for you to think about

Just remembered I have a 350 4 bolt main and a 400 crank and rods sitting in the garage. I guess ill take it up to the machine shop and have them sonic check it for me.
Ill probably run some ported patriot vortecs (265 cfm for CHEAP!)
and I have no idea what kind of intake. Id only be looking for 350-400 hp n/a
Then Ill throw some spray on it.
Would a stock 400 crank surfice, I'd want to run forged pistons for the nitrous but would some 5140 rods last.

You would not need a PCM, however I think a gen 1 SBC would be a much better choice. If you are going to switch it to a carb and put in an old style distributor there is no point in using an LT1. At that point it's little more than a traditional 350 and will really limit your head and intake manifold choices. Very counter-productive in the end. Just my 2 cents.
