the only 4 inch system i heard on an ls1 sounded kinda like a mustang..but there was definitely no popping or anything..it sounded pretty good..more sporty than muscle

Here is my thread frm CZ28.com, with pics of my exhaust. Kooks 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 - 3 inch collector LT's, 3 inch y to 4 inch Flowmaster merge collector (made on the car at Mufflex), 4 inch Mufflex cat back with 40 series Flowmaster Muffler. I even had Mufflex fab me a dual 3 inch tail pipes so it looks like the factory SLP 2OTL

I'm thinking of ordering the pacesetter y-pipe and cutting the y off. Then using the flow master uniersal 3" y-pipe to go into a 4" pipe, with dump then reduced to a 3' cat back. My dumped 3" duals are loud and the radio can't cover it up.

I wish I never sold my catback system.

So Ellis, do you have a part list to make up one of your ypipes?? Taking up less space is always a nice thing.
