abs sensor/ my abs inop light is on/ i have no idea why.. any clues/ also i noticed my passenger rear tire sites about an inch further than my driver rear tire? both same size tires/ whats the deal/

having a lil trouble understanding you...did you mean sits an inch further forward??
the light can be a couple of things...it could be that one of your abs sensors is gone meaning that it disables the anti lock feature and leaves you with regular brakes until you replace the sensor... basically part of the abs system is not functioning
or it could be if you have installed an SS spoiler and didnt put in a resistor..I wondered why my light came on after I installed my spoiler and that was the reason..something about the system requires the resistance and the new brake light doesnt quite do it..you just have to put a resistor in the wiring setup..

sorry man, it sits out further an inch , like my rear end shifted to the right or something.. but the car was never in an accident.
i didnt change the spoiler. its a 94 lt1 formy, where is the sensor at and whats it look like

each wheel has its own sensor that senses wheel lock up and sends a signal to the computer to pulse the brake or "let off" the brake just enough at that wheel to get it rolling again to avoud lock up, hence ABS...there at each wheel..grab you a book at autzone on the cars and you will see a detailed pic of where each sensor is..
as for the inch thing, check the axles and make sure they dont have any play in them, unless it was in an accident i dont know what it was but you said it wasnt...what about suspension mods..do you have any

If your panhard bar is bent it can do that too, but it should ride a little loose on right hand turns at speed.

i dont think theres an abs sensor in the back wheels in 94 just the front. a brake light will come on for a brake light being out or a bad master but absinop is a bad wheel sensor you just hook up to a scanner and get the code, it might be bad or it could be like i bad ground related to the abs system. in fact i even think that for the back wheels (in an early fourth gen) the abs is built in to the rear end!
come to think about its only the four channel rear ends that has a wheel sensor on each rear wheel (four channel being a traction control car, but it wasnt an option in 94. 95 and up option only) yours should be a three channel so your problem is gonna be in the front.
mine is a 93 w/o trac control and mine has it on all four wheels. It might also have to do with if it has the all wheel disk breaks or drums in the rear. Mine has the all wheel disk on it
