Default Car acting weird

Ok, It was raining like a mother on friday and as I was driving in it for about 15 minutes, my car started missing and sputtering..The check engine light (which is on because of EGR removal) started flashing.

What gives? opti getting wet? This is now twice it has happened to me. I also have a CAI so I was thinking also I might have ucked in a little water. I pulled over and after about 10 minutes of just letting it run and giving it a little gas, it started to clear up. Ran like crap all the way home. This morning it was fine.

Any suggestions?

Same **** has happened to me, i have been told it was the mass air getting wet by a couple, but most say the opti got wet, and if the opti gets wet it works fine for a while after that but then it starts to carbon track and then it is on its way out. I have posted about it a while back and mine recently went out, go figgure.

The flashing check engine light is not because of the EGR. That's a severe misfire.

I havent had the check engine light tuned out. It stays on because the EGR was removed. But when the car was misfiring it was flashing.

knock on wood, I hope the opti stays ok for a long while.
