Default Jet-Hot Headers

I just got off the phone with the sells guy at Jet-Hot and he told me that they make a set of headers that are just for my car. He told me that the are 16 gauge steel with 3/8 flange. 1 3/4 into a 3" collector., and already coated with their 1300 degree coating. The price he gave me was $499 and $250 for a hooker offroad Y-pipe which is also coated. Has anyone ever baught any headers that jet-hot has personally made. And does this price sound reasonable?

That's what I have and that's what I paid. My only complaint is the plug access for 6 & 8.

do you still have the AC in the car? Mine is removed making it alittle bit easier to move around in there. How is the placement for the steering shaft?

they are identical to the hooker headers. i'm not a huge fan of the 2 piece primary on the drivers side to go around the steering shaft, but they are nice headers for the money.

Yeah I still have AC. The steering shaft clears fine. I don't mind the two piece #1 primary at all, mine shows no evidence of ever leaking.

Do youself a favor and save up for a set of kooks. I bought a set of the jet hots 1 1/2 years ago. Within 3 months the coating was coming off at the collectors. Now it might be because my car stays outside but the coating is now popping and burning off at the heads. I called jet hot about the coating and they said if I sent them back the headers they would recoat them, but if I am going to do that I had might as well install some kooks. I also had some fitment issues. Just my expierance. Maybe others were better.
