Was going to reply to your previous thread before you deleted it.

Your car is not overheating at 230. That is normal at hot idle in a hot climate.

If the hottest it gets is 230 and you have the stock tune, then that is the expected behavior. Get a tune or fan switch to lower the running temp.

On the other hand if it's getting into the red (250-260) then you have another problem.

that is strange that it would do it only when in gear if you are sitting there either way. if you want to simply put it to an end-it should stop if you do as infinitebird said. a tune and a low temp thermostat will drop your running temp alot. it was the first thing i did to my car and im so glad i did. i personally think 230* is still even too hot.some people get a fan switch to be able to turn the fans on as they please. i think you can tune the fans to come on earlier as well which i like the idea of better bc then its just one thing you dont have to worry about as where if you have a fan switch you have to bother turning them on and off.

Put a 160 t-stat and a SLP fan switch on your car and don't look back . I did this to my car and now it runs right at 170. Good look with your car
