Default Bad coil??

how can you tell when your coil is going bad or what are the symptoms??

when my coil went out, the car would not start

You'll notice ignition problems. It might break up under heavy load or at high rpm. Might be slow to start or get going.

This is what mine did, high rpm miss staring around 5200 rpm.

Generally, a coil either works or it dont. Usually wont start.

Yes, the coil isn't tied to the starter, as in when the coil brakes the starter won't work.

Mine still partially worked after crapping out. I had an digital 6 however. It made matters even more confusing, as I could not put my finger on the problem.
