I just called Gary Graves at Memphis Motorsports Park again. Left another message.

I also just called Jason Dukes at Gateway International Raceway again. Left him another message.

If it is in Memphis I could make that.

My car "SHOULD" run in the 10's on motor. It has a Wolfe bolt in six point bar. I wonder if they will check the rear down bars to see if they are welded to the hoop or not. If not the bar is not legal to go 10.00. And it is not welded there. To go in the 10's you need a SFI helmet and jacket also don't you?

Hey guys. I gotta tell you every swinging Man here would show up if the race was in there back yard

How many are just going to show up regardless? THAT is the true answer If you are not up for a good drive you are not up for it This is not ment to upset anyone just state the facts. Half of the posts in the Past thread were just saying "If you show up in my town I will race" Not good enough for what we really need.

Keep it up Tony someone will answer soon. It takes a bit at times to get there attention. We run a multi track series up here for car clubs and it can be very taxing at times to say the least. Part of it might be it is late in the season and some tracks are booked up and or winding down.

Lets hope things take a turn for the better

I'm up for a little drive. But some people have to work and can't drive for 2 days just to race.

Memphis would be a 11 hour drive from where I live. That is not as far as some would have to drive but I am willing to go farther if I have too. People are just going to have to make an effort and try to be there even if it is a 20 hour drive. That is what will make this event a success.

Why not rent out one of the smaller tracks instead of a National Event track?

Have a heads-up N/A class and I will come.

Good Luck,

Daren

Good Luck,

Because we are trying to make this a classy event that may turn into an annual event. If we have it at a small backwood track a lot of people will not show up much less return for the next one. That is just the way it is. Does not bother me but it does some people.

Also depends on interest and track rental prices. We may have to have it at a smaller track. We will not have the backing like the LSX shootout has so we will have to be creative.

This is all very true. Good Accomidations are a must also. We are wanting alot of people to come. People from far away. People who will return. This means NHRA or IHRA National event tracks. We have pretty much Established some where in the Mid-Eastern states, the furthest west we will get is Memphis. Lets work with what we have and get it done

Tony will come up with some thing that will work I am sure

I'm still in. Cant wait to see finally get so see some fast lt1s.

People have to get out of the mindset that if they can't win they aren't coming. That will kill a race faster than anything. Usually thats why a strong local turnout doesn't happen when they know the so called "fast" guys are coming.

I'm in regardless if it's next spring (this fall/winter won't happen). I'm located centrally enough to make it coast to coast.

I was at one of the LS1tech races at Bowling Green. There were plenty of cars there. It is not a National Event track. The only reason that I posted was because I read that your calls weren't getting returned and thought that a Divisional track might welcome you.
