Default What kind of bolt is this

These kind of bolts are holding my headers on and they either need to be tightened or i need new gaskets, nether the less i need the tool. Here are some pictures, i really dont know what kind of bolt this is and where i can get the tool.

That's a 12-point head. If it's on Gen I small block or LT1 headers it will probably be a 3/8" 12-point socket or a regular 12-point box end wrench. If it's on an LSx motor it's probably a metric size and someone else will be able to tell you he exact size.

That's just a regular 12 point. You can tighten them with your boxed end wrenches. That looks like either a 3/8" or a 10mm

God I hate to go off-topic, but that Sony of yours takes incredible pics :O

But yes, most of the time your standard sockets fit. They DO make specialty sockets that match right up. My friend has a bunch.

buy an 11mm wrench and use that, it works wonders. grind off the area of the open end to get in there and really wrench down on stuff. it should work for the 12 sided head.
