Default Loose battery cable

The TA has been running great, no issues at all. Well went to put gas in it, try to turn it on and I hear a pop and loose all battery power. Open the hood and I'm able to move the negative terminal cable around some, Try it again, car starts up, no issues. Sound like a loose negative cable or some thing else?

yeah. loose connection will do that. my formula did that to me one day... I was trying to leave shop rite, went to crank it and everything shut off. I was like wtf?!?

So I popped the hood and i could loosen the neg terminal with my hand. ha, thank god i had my wrenches with me, and i tightened it up

Just make sure all your connections are tight

Haha, this was happening to me on my way to Mt. St. Helens (about 3 hour drive). We were close to the exit we needed going about 70 when my girlfriend was driving and the car just shut off so she coasts to the side of the road and we shake the battery around and get it going, then does it to us after we get off onto our exit. It was fine for a few weeks after that when it did it again, then I just figured out what the problem was and tightened it back down.

another story... friend had a 4runner that he had to start up after sitting a while. It would run fine, but when he went to put the window up or down, the car would die. everything would shut off. I check the wires, they are tight... I look at the battery ground to the body, its in a pool of corrosion -_-

cleaned that up, and its perfect now
