I changed out plugs 2 and 4 and I tried 6 and 8 and couldnt get them, does anybody have any suggestions, recommendations to get the other 6 off. Also how hard is it to route MSD wires?

pull your starter and go from underneath for 6 & 8. Do you have stock exhaust manifolds? Those are tough to manuever around. The drivers side can be managed from the front under the car for 1 & 3, 5 and 7 from top or under by the oil filter. They are a PIA no matter how you try usually. I'm running KOOKS headers and they are easy to get to now. MSD wires are not hard to route, just be patient and it's a little time consuming.

I have shorty headers and I used jack stands but I couldnt get enough leverage to get 6,8 off. I have not tried to get the other side off yet.

hopefully you are using a socket with a hex on the back Vs. a ratchet. Use a wrench and a hex'd socket instead. Also another thing to try is cutting your socket in half, talk about easier, Summit sells the SLP plug sockets already half sized or cut in half and they work great with a wrench.

what also comes in handy is a regular sized socket and a 1 inch extension. i did 1,3,5 from the top and 7 from underneath. passenger side i got 2 with the alternator pulled 4 was easy. six ( i have big arms) and i was able to get it from the top by cramming my arm between the exhaust and fender well. 8 was pulled from underneath

Yeah, my buddy bought that same socket from summit, and in the magazine it showed the SLP logo etched into the metal, and when he got it, it said craftsman. Also kind of expensive, since he paid almost $30 for it I believe.

Well I changed all of my plugs, and wires and when I fired it up it drove but there was a smell like something was burning. So when i popped the hood to check to see if one of the wires was against the header and they weren't. But I didn't have them all the way pinned up against the rail. Another thing too, while I was right in the middle of changing my plugs I fired it up on tuesday, with half ngk-half ac delco(no msd wires yet) that was when the smell first started. I am totally lost can someone please offer suggestions.

get on top with your knees on the rad support, its a tight fit but it can be done for #6 , I also did #8 from the bottom taking nothing off , and i have stock manifolds/ y pipe

I am sure the smell was just dirt/grease/ oil burning off I had the same thing , as long as it goes away your allright

Just changed mine and all of them where easy cept for 6 and 8. had to go under the car and take off starter. From there it was ease...

But i did not use a socket wrench. I used the spark plug socket but it had a hex on the end so i could use a wrench on the end instead of socket wrench.. SOOO much easier that way as i have LT headers also.

Yes - skinny arms (and multiple elbows on each arm).

Also - don't be afraid to look like you really love your motor in an unnatural way. Kneel on it, lay on top of it, across it - anything that helps position your arms properly - thats probably one of the best pieces of advise I got.
