How to race?

How to race? Do I just power break it and then hold the gas to the floor thru the quarter mile. Will the auto shift automatically at 6000 RPM or do I let off to get it to shift. Share some techiques if you will for a good run.

Being that you're bone stock, all you need to do is punch it when the light turns green and keep your foot on the gas until the 1/4 mile mark. If it's not that good of a track then you might need to ease on it more off the line, but you don't have to let off the gas for it to shift since it's auto.
