Default Need some help!!!

So today i took my car to the dyno. I knew that there had to be something wrong with my car thats why i took it to the dyno. Well first of all the shop i took it to deals with imports mostly but hey they had a dyno so i just went to them. I got a mail order tune for it through pcmforless and yes i know its not gonna be right i need to take it and have it tuned but wow was a shocked at the numbers it pulled THEY SUCKED!!!! It was dynoed on a mustang dyno which from what i hear is my first mistake. But any ways hears the numbers and if anybody could help me that would help a bunch.

it only produced 308 rwhp 287ft lbs of torq the guy at the shop said that i have a problem with the ignitions system. But its a brand new opti. I took the wires off of the car after i got home and there not burned. MY coil has always been relocated off of the head. Whats really wierd is my car at the track ran 12.3 @113 mph. so i guess what im asking is the anywhere else that my ignition system could be messing up.

Your probably making closer to 330rwhp.. Mustang dynos tend to read about 10% low.. on a rule of thumb anyways.

There does seem to be something off though... those number are still waaay too low for your mods. I would suggest to take it to a shop that has a dynojet or even better, a dynapack dyno and have it tuned. Dynapacks are the best option for tuning since you can load tune them (lock the car to any speed you want... it will hydraulically hold up to 1300hp at any speed you set) so you can put your car at full load throughout the rpm range, and tune from there.

i dont think there is anything wrong with you car other than tuning.your afr looks to be rich but im not sure cause that dyno sheet sucks *** (no offense).i would go back and kick that dyno operator in the nuts cause his **** is off.your track times show that you are somwhere around 360 to 370 rwhp at least thats where i was at when my car went 12.4 111.

oh i know they stuck it to me i will never go back to them again. First they told me that it was gonna be 80 dollars for three pulls. when they only did two pulls and still charged me $80. Then to top it all he gives me this crappy dyno sheet. hes like oh im sorry my printers out of ink come back next week and ill give you a better copy.

Okay took the wires off of the car today and checked them with a ohm meter and they seem to check out okay. Theres no craks in them or burn marks. When i changed the opti spark all i did was change the cap and rotor is there any chance that the sensor in there is bad?

That is a distinct possibility cuz I've been in a situation similar to yours. I bought the whole shooting match (opti) and that really fixed it.

You have some good money in the motor... Just spend a little more and get yourself an Accel opti or an MSD unit. IMO the MSD isnt worth the money and the Accel did me very well for quite some time, 90% of it was hard driving.

Good luck!
