LT-1 Ignition timing
LT-1 Ignition timing Anybody happen to know what the ignition timing should be for an LT-1 engine? I recently bought an Actron scanner that reads "live" data. Last night, I had some free time, and threw it on the car.
Initially, the timing figure read -50 degrees, while in closed loop. As the car warmed up, it went to -20 at idle and -40 as I drove under light throttle. As I accelerated, it went back to -45.
For the record, I have an LT-4 knock module in the PCM, but I left the OE LT-1 knock sensor in the block.
Any thoughts?
(thinking the reader might be wacked, I put it on my wife's car, and it showed timing numbers in "positive" numbers)

I mean the timing that the PCM is showing to the ADLD port, that the scanner is reading. It's -45 at idle, and varies between -45 and -25 as I drive the car, based on acceleration and/or load.
