What kind of tuning?

So the holiday season is approaching. And I'm gonna start searching around for headers and such. If I get a 4.0 I get a tune also. What kind of tune would be best? I'm looking for cost vs value here. I know that its about 200 for a mail order tune but I was told there are better ways to get it tuned than mail order. What do you all recommend? I want my skip shift disabled, my rev limiter reduced from 6500 to 6000, idle adjusted lower, knock retard desensitizing, fan temps lowered for a 160 stat, tuned for headers, and tuned for premium gas.

Also is there much of a benefit to going OBD1? Is it really worth the extra 300

for what you have im thinkin a mail order would be fine now if u were doin a cam or heads and cam then i would suggest a dyno tune ..least this is what im doin when i get a cam
