Hypertech is JUNK. Down in the chicago area Ion Soltan at madz28 is a good tuner.

Far as power, with ported aluminum heads and the right cam 400 at the wheels is possible through an unlocked automatic tranny, that is roughly what my car makes which is WAY over 400at the flywheel.

sounds pricey. I am sure i will be plenty happy with the power it will be makin. Its already going to be alot more than the 4.3 that is in there now. Thanks for all the help. You guys have been awesome!

The catback I suggest is none, haha. True duals = awesome. Or maybe the impala catbacks ARE true duals. I really don't know because ive never even looked at one. It's really not any more expensive either typically. And yes 400HP is very possible. A cam and valvetrain upgrades along with full bolt-ons will get you that much at the crank, and if you're after 400hp to the wheels, just add heads (in this case my recommendation gooes to Lloyd Elliot's LE2 head and cam package).

EDIT: what the ****? it turns f t w (minus the spaces) into three ? marks. Why?

Do the heads that I would have to send Lloyd Elliot, have to be aluminum?
