To be honest I'd ask Lloyd Elliot what he thinks, b/c he knows the specs on his head and cam package....I'm in the process of doing a LE2 head/cam package on a Forged 383 stroker, with 11.5 to 1 compression and all of the bolt-ons and a built trans.,Fully Suspended as well....He claims mid 11's with a 3600# car with driver included....with a good tune and a 1.45-1.55 60' time. He does good work and I'd say you'll get good performance, especially on the street. The LE1 package is a street package...And the factory stall should still be fine; but it would help alot to upgrade.

A stall would benifit a stock car, and a cammed car even more. And a stall will help absorb cam surge too.
