Changing Alternater Any of you guys switch to a small Alt, mine shot craps but want a smaller one, for valve cover convience. I heard one of a 350 tpi engine (87-92) alt will work and is the same amp reading.

It won't be the same amp. The big ones we have are 120 (93) and 140 (94+)amp. The smaller ones are 105 and I think the biggest is 110. Doubt it'll fit either, since the circumference is bigger.
