Question EGR block-off?

Ok, well i decided to just go ahead and just block off the egr ports in the back and get rid of the pipe that goes to the header. I have Long-tube headers (emissions style) with high flow cats and a mild cam. so the EGR system has been giving me all these problems so i want to just get rid of it.

So my question is what all can i take off if i am getting the plates and then getting a tune? will i need to get a LT4 knock sensor & module. will this harm anything with just blocking it off?

The valve and the pipe. Then you block those two holes in the back of the intake. If you have emissions LT's, then you will have to block the hole on the pass side header too. Do you also have the AIR pump?

Just yank the tube out, and pull out the valve as well. Both of those holes in the manifold need to be blocked, as well as the hole in the header.

I used the gaskets as a template and made my own.
