Yeah don't do that! I think basically all the Hypertech does is advance your ignition timing. Probably some other stuff but I am not sure what it is. Take the thing back to stock before playing with nitrous. You will foul your plugs for sure but may melt a piston or a burn a valve as well. Remember with nitrous you retard timing. Hypertech does just the opposite.

I am guessing that the chip does the same thing as a Programmer would do on the flash cars, 1994+. Personally, I would send my PCM to PCM For Less or similar tuner. That way they can burn you a new EPROM chip and get the Hypertech out.
