Need Help Please!!!!!!!!!

Default Need Help Please!!!!!!!!!

I have a 97SS with CC503 ported and polished heads and all the complementing mods even suspension everything has been changed except driveshaft and rearend but still have 3.73's. I went to track and ran a 13.7@100mph w/1.9 60". Immiadiately after going back to the pits I noticed that my car was struggling to stay on unless I gave it gas. Ran one more time went from 13.7 to 14.2@98mph and went to the pits and the car would shut off when in drive. Then turn it back on put it in reverse and would shut off unless I gave it gas. Thought it was my fuel pressure readjusted it to 45 psi with vacuum and still did the same thing. Now I'm thinking it's the tune it just sounds like the car is straving for gas. I don't know what to do any help would be appreciated. If any knows how to get a hold of Moe Bailey that would help.

Did you check the fuel pressure while driving the car? or just at idle?

Are you automatic?

I would start with simple diagnosing like using a vacuum gauge.

I would check for major Vacum leaks first, then any wiring like on the maf, tps ect to see if they did not come disconnected, finally it could be the dreaded Opti.. If you can have it scanned to see if it is throwing a Hi or Lo resolution failure then that is it, remember it will not throw a SES light.
