lt4 part number i want to make sure mine is an lt4 intake and not an lt1 intake powdercoated red can some give me the part number of there lt4 intake to make sure mine really is an lt4 intake.

The GM part number for the lt4 is 12550630...but if you are looking at the casting number on the piece that will not help...post up the casting number and I will look at my book when I get home.

this picture shows you how the PORTS ARE THE SAME, just the LT4 has more material above the port.
May not help you much if the intake has been ported, but I think you should be able to eyeball the difference.
If the extra material above the ports is machined off to fit an LT1(valvecover rails interfere) then an LT4 intake becomes a LT1 intake.
