I have the slp CAI i got tired of looking at it just flat black so decided to paint it with some gloss. The slp will be painted orange like my car tomorro. What ya think.

Nice! I was thinking about doing that too, but probably powdercoated roman red or white. Could be a winter project.

BTW, what elbow are you using? I got a trickflow and had to cut off an inch because the SLP intake is too long - MAF didn't fit. LOL
Wondering if anyone else had that problem with the combo.

lol thats funny i actually have the stock elbow i been wanting to get a new one though. BTW white would look nice. Thanks

If you paint it any time soon post pics would like to see it. I think they look good painted. They dont look bad as they are but you get tired of seing that dullness.

Anyone else painted their LT1's intake elbow ?? Im getting mine powder coated to match my red intake .. hope it looks good and not over done

Yup.

I used left over brush-on caliper paint. (What else am I gonna do with the paint?) It's pretty nice at first, but it does tend crack and peel after (much) handling. I'll probably get it powder coated along with the SLP intake down the line.

PC is trash lol that thing has messed up on me everytime i fixed it so i said forget it time for a new one. Use the old one as a stand
