lt1 or lt4
sorry if this seems like another lt1 lt4 thread but my question is, would it be worth the hassle of swapping out the lt1 heads on a 355 cc306 motor for the lt4 heads? searched around for a lil while but didn't see anything that really answered my question. would there be any gain at all that would be worth the change? the heads were bought already...and for a good price so it wouldn't be too much of a loss swapping. any input would be appreciated, thanks
oh sorry the lt1 heads are stock and so are the lt4 with the exception of springs and what not, no porting to either set.

Stock lt1 heads flow about 210 cfm on the intake side and the lt4 flow about 240cfm if you already have the intake and it were me doing it...HELL YA I WOULD DO IT. Just my .02. Every little bit helps...plus before you put them on you could have them buget ported or go all out and really pick up some power for future upgrades.

I'd say...Ported LT4 heads and matched LT4 intake..and if you do that, I would be willing to take those unmolested LT1 heads from you.....Need a set to send to Loyd for porting and minimize down time on mine
