I am thinking about getting a random tech y pipe with dual cats. My question is will it fit with aftermarket headers. I know it will not fit with long tubes but I do not have long tubes. I think my headers are hooker mid-lengths but I am not sure, they were on the car when I bought it. Is there a way to tell what brand of headers I have without taking them off? I need to get some cats to make it legal, right now it has none. Another option would be just getting 2 cats and having a muffler shop weld them on but I think after buying the cats and paying the labor it would be about the same price as the whole y pipe and bolting it up myself anyway.

Also would it make my car sound better with cats? I have a borla catback, it sounds pretty good like it is but I am just wondering.
