Power Steering Delete

ok, got a question, how do you delete the power steering off an lt1, i know you get rid of the pump and resevoir, but what else do you have to do.

cut the ends of the line off and get a rubber hose and loop the lines. done! Took me 5 mins to do, real easy!

how much more difficult is it to drive without the power steering?

Tough when your going slow or stopped. Its cool when your cruising though

. Dont you have to find a different belt? I tried but there was no way to route it since the water pump is cam driven. You need another pulley or to relocate the alternator to where the a/c was (Im assuming you have no A/C if your getting rid of the power steering).

Put a manual rack in there, di it right the 1st time.

i only know of one place to get the manual steering rack for an lt1 (thunder racing) if anyone else knows where to get one ... please shed some light!!!
