Default Review this kit please

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/COMP-...8864QQtcZphoto

Is there anything in this kit that is no good?

I was going to make a kit with:
cc503
Pro mag 1.6RR
LS7 lifters
CRN-10308-1 valve springs
LT4 timing set
Good pushrods (what’s good?)

Which would be the better kit for the money and quality parts?

That kit is not for LT1 so I don't think the timing set would work and the dowel pin might have to be modded on the cam although it does look like a 503 by specs. In your piecemeal kit, stock pushrods would be fine as long as you used self aligning rockers. Skip the LT4 set and just get a GM replacement timing chain for your stock gears. The GM LS lifters are a good deal though.

I will actually be getting the last part for my 503 swap in about a week. StealthFormula helped me out with some of the parts for the swap. His suggestions that he included in his set up included:
Chromoley trickflow 7.2"Pushrods-

Crane springs-

CC503 cam-

Cam swap gasket kit (part number111-115-LT)-

I went with a custom version of the 503, but im using the same springs and roller rockers. I also went with a performance timing chain (but kept the stock gears). I decided to put new lifters in since im pushing 140,XXX miles. Im pretty sure stock replacements will be fine but i found a good deal on some comp r lifters (really depends on your mileage and condition of the engine).

I would buy new lifters just for the insurance. Helped a friend do a cam swap a while back and a couple of the lifters collapsed.

I went with some Trickflow hardened chromemoly pushrods that were $87 from summit and your gonna need gaskets Id check out the cam swap gasket kit at thunderracing. I second dhdenney, just get a replacement lt1 chain instead of the whole lt4 kit.
