opti or sensor or fuelpump
opti or sensor or fuelpump I just installed a walboro fuel pump and dont know if it can be the cause of my problem that i have been having. It seems to be like the car takes about 5 seconds to start when it cold but when it warmed up and u try to start it again it fires up instantly. But thats not all my problems the next thing is that when i drive the car for a bout 15-20 minutes it sputters like if there is no gas and shuts of and like 20 minutes later it fires up good and u can drive it again. I also get a shake like a miss I have not did a tuneup since i have had the car and that is about 2 years 15,000 miles give or take. I wanted to do that but was thinking about changing the opti at the same time but dont want to spend the money if i dont have to so if there is a way to test the opti to see if it is working correctly let me know.
Another thing i noticed is that there is a strong gas smell that can be smelt inside the car and when you are outside the car it is really strong. I Didnt have the problem with the startup issue but had the sputering issue before that .
