alternator? What are some of the warning signs that your alternator is going bad? My gauge will sometimes borderline at yellow in idle and all eletronics will slow down enough to notice a difference (especially blinkers and window). As soon as I step on the gas, it'll charge up again until the next stop.

Re: alternator? Do you have a sound system put in your car.Or and uder drive pully kit. If not it sounds like either the alternator is not making enogh juice. I would check all the contections to it and to the batt. Also check the belt to the alt to make sure it is not slipping or somting messed up like that.
