1.9Tim,

Callies can provide a nice steel crankshaft for the LT1 with a 1-piece rear main and a big block Chevy post, (snout). The "Magnum" is the crankshaft to look at, (can be had for ~$1700 and that's a good price for a custom crank like that). If your plan is to run a blower then that thicker crank nose will be insurance from snapping it off under the 30 PSI of blower stress.

Karl is right, but assuming the goal is "9's in the quarter mile" NOT "30 psi boost", then the stocker is marginal and a basic Eagle 4340 crank will work fine.
