Exactly and its not that much more either

Your right, 'anyone' can get luck once.

I guess Mr. DiLuca does it on a regular basis. Its not like he has some of the sickest LTx,LSx powered cars out right now

Here is one of my car from thursday night, can't really hear the idle though. I know it is ugly, speed parts are more important than paint.

This was at GLD which is 150 miles from home.

lead is a much cheaper means of killing deer than is sheet metal, both are equally effective but I really recommend the lead, leaves a lot more for the mod budget.

The converter hits pretty hard best 60ft. of the night was 1.620 weight was easily 4250lbs that night with the extra crap in the car, fuel level, the SS wheels on front are heavy 29lbs without rubber, up around 60lbs with, no risk of a pothole bending them though.

all this talk about a custom ground cam, and then going and changing parts later? why? if your going for a cam only record or something, then fine....but if your going to be changing heads or building a motor later down the road, why not get a cam speced for the exact set up? if i were you, id run an off the shelf cam for now.

different strokes for different folks

I got a custom cam, and I realize that I just could have gotten an off the shelf cam, that was pretty small, and done some minor valve tricks or compression boost and got better results. LT1 cam's usually dyno with in 10rwhp of each other, all things being equal, so I don't get what the big hoo ha is about custom cams. with a custom cam, everything must be perfect, the setup must be flawless, because it usually the setup that yields great results, not necessarily 100% of the cam.

Yes and NO. Take my 847 cam vs. Lloyd Elliots LE3 cam. They will make SIMILAR peak power, but the LE3 cam will make more power throughout the RPM band, which in return makes the car faster. Custom grinds are the way to go, but get it ground once for your set up and save yourself some money.

Thank you.

Not the only Mustang I beat that night just the most entertaining. The staging lane guy was more than happy to entertain my specific request to line up against that car.

Finally watched the vid. Thought it was hilarious. pretty funny to watch a lightweight fox body get walked by a chevy powered boat.

That guy was retarded, I wouldnt be spray painting trash talk on my hood when im only trapping 104. AHAHAHAH

Oh and I decided to go with bret and I just need to get some time to have the Z down so I can swap the cam in.
