Default cam and heads, now i cant get it to idle. help

i installed LT headers, heads and cam the cam is a cc503,

Now the only thing i cant get this thing to do is idle if i keep my foot on the gas just a little bit i seems like a good idle but i cant figure out how to keep it like that adjusted the fuel pressure because i got a new aeromotive one it about 40 psi right now but i went up and down to see if it would change no luck,

the only thing i can think of is that my tune is for a CC306 cam but everything eles is the same could that be it?

I'm not real up on the cam model/numbers yet, but is that cam considered a fairly big cam? Have you tried adjusting the idle via the throttle body? I know the stock one has an allen screw that allows you to bump open the throttle plates a hair more at a time. If the cam is pretty large, you could be running low on vacuum and it would cause the issue you'e seeing. Have you tested vacuum? Have a gauge to do so? Test it while bumping the throttle up around 1200-1500 and see where it's at.

you cant change your idle with the screw for a long pd of time..once the pcm realizes it, it will change the idle to compensate..went through this with my 503 cam as well(mine idled too high). you could have an IAC problem, or most likely its b/c you need a new tune. I'm guessing that you need a tune. get a decent mailorder tune from one of the regulars,(pcmforless,madz28, etc) and see how it runs then, or go get a dynotune
