haha, what did you do by starting this thread????? cam only is quite vague, but it generally means, all bolt ons + a cam, and not messing with anything inside the heads, as in like not taking them off.

1. 1987 Iroc Weight w/o driver 3250lbs
2. 355ci/ 1 5/8 hooker 2055s (i know need bigger)/ 3 inch y pipe back no cats/Ported heads/ported intake/52mm TB/30# injectors/255lph/AC delete/K&N/1.6RRs/3000Stall/3.42s
3. LT4 Hotcam .525/.525 218/228 on 1.6RRs
4. 312RWHP@5650rpm 311 RWTQ@4700rpm
5. 1/4 mile 12.9@107MPH on 255/55/r16 M/T DRs (was ran by my buddy 2 weeks before i got the car.

TUNE WAS FOR A 100 SHOT OF NITROUS....I was told with a N/A tune he would get around 350ish out of it

Also guys what kind of cam should I upgrade to...and no i do not have the flow charts for my heads. Some say go with the GM847 but I like the drivability of the hot cam. I was thinking maybe something with a .560 lift max on 1.6RRs...any suggestions?

the xe 230/236 540 550 w/ 1.6 on a 112lsa would be a good choice, not quite as wild as 847.

'93 Trans Am A4
New 355: LT's, stall, 3.73's, 52mm TB, CAI, stock exhaust w/ 3" cutout, mail order tune
LE2 cam on stock heads with Beehives and all supporting valvetrain
347hp/32xtq through a busted tranny and valvetrain/tuning problems
13.3@109 2.3 60ft shortshifting around 4500rpm in every gear bcuz tranny was slipping
Full tank of gas, full interior, and on street tires with some ignition problems as well . car weighed maybe 3800lbs with me in it.

I had the 230/236 cam and it felt really nice but the LE2/stock head setup feels worlds better even with all the problems. The car should be out soon with a new tranny from SpeedDensity along with a new fuel sytem and tuning. If my traps a little higher it should go low 12's or 11's, if not I'll spray it.
Before cam: LT's, stall, and slicks it went 13.03@103mph 1.7 60ft 2.5 years ago
