Oil pressure drop????'s
Oil pressure drop????'s hello, a couple days ago i gave it WOT and i noticed a extreme loss of power and of oil pressure..usually when i get on it, my psi would be @ 70-80 but this time it was @ 40-50...then it started to lose oil pressure and when it got to the red my car just stalled...didn't sound like a spun bearing cause i didn't have any knock... took it to my shop and pulled the oil pan to see alot of metal shavings...the pickup tube was alittle clogged but i just dont want to replace the oil pump and then, and somehow something is getting worn to cause metal shavings to clog the new oil pump...just wondering if u guys think it could be a bearing and i can just replace it or do u guys think that i need to rebuild the motor
