Your going to have to find wiring diagrams of whats you need and dont need, then go from there.

Its not just a cut 3 wires and be done, thats a big load of work.

Tony.

Just curious...

If you are even going to the extreme to have only one headlight and taillight, and it is a race only ride...why power windows??? Going to manual will be a cheap weight reduction, plus less wires

I've heard from several sources that the power windows are actually lighter than the manual ones.

Interesting, I had never heard that before. Could have sworn I had seen power windows as a weight reduction item on one of the "big lists" floating around a while ago, but I was probably just mistaken in that case.

Makes more sense now at least

figure it this way, you have a little motor to move a window or some big steel sissor deal to move the window up/down. Theres a million posts on that, that a power window is lighter. But im in the same boat. I think over winter im pulling my entire harness and guttin it too.

In a lot of cars the manual window mechanism uses the same scissor piece as the electric, just without the motor setup. That way it is cheaper and easier to produce both models. I guess the fourth gen f-bods are totally different between most manual/electric versions of cars

I have replaced my window motor, but didnt really look at much it since I was only worried about the damn thing going up/down and not weight reduction .
