will a set of 15x9(5.5 back spacing)weld wheels clear lt1 calipers on the rear?

 

are you sure they are nine inchs wide, most 15 inch wheels especially welds you will need to grind the cooling fins down on the calipers.

 

usually a 15x10 w/ 7.5" bs clears with some grinding, so I'm gonna say...maybe, it would be the same as 15x10 w/ 6.5, and I have seen those on some LT1 cars.

like said earlier are you sure it's not a 15x8 or 15x10. I don't remember weld making a 15x9.
