I got a buddy that runs a 402 LS2 motor, N/A with suspension, and everything else about 127 in the 1/4 on a 28" tall biasply slick and a th400, and 4.10 gear, compared to a 28" tallk drag radial it did grow where he lost like 1ish mph. He is planning on tossing 100 shot this upcoming weekend, we suspect he is going to run out of gear but we have to see his converter is ULTRA loose (can stall an easy 5500rpms)
Look at what mph your going to be running, max RPM and back off 300-500 rpms and aim for that mph. Change the gear accordingly
Oh and for your setup, you have a 26" tall tire, your not going to get the side wall flex like a 28" tire tire, even if its a slick, having lesser gear may help if you spray off the line.
