Clutch Help????
Clutch Help???? Went to go race on thursday and the car would pull good on third and fourth. The problem was that on first and second gear around 5000rpm it seemed as if the clutch was slipping is it actually the clutch or a tranny problem. Clutch is a Spec stage 1 slp billet flywheel and mid length headers only mods.
Generally you're clutch will slip in the upper gears, at 5000 rpm I say it's more likley you're tires were spinning! How old is the clutch, and what kind of tires were you on?

I am now having the same problem with my T/A. In 1st and 2nd at 5000 Rpms my clutch slips bad, I can tell when the tires are spining and when there not, i have a fairly new street force clutch installed and only a k&N air kit and full 3" flowmaster exuast system with headers and no cats so its not like im blowing through clutchs because of too much torq and horse.
She also hard to start in the mornings when its cold and i have to turn her over 2 times before she starts up when hot.

well the clutch and flywheel are brand new and the tires dont have any tread on them. Its cause the thing is it felt diffrent in the tracks like if the clutch was slipping and tires werent spinning. do i need a stronger clutch or is it something else
