I am just messing with him because most people that find this forum know where a spark plug is. I think he needs to read a few books or magazines on cars IMHO. Nothing wrong with not knowing as long as there is a will to learn. The title of this thread screams retard however.

I can actually get #8 from the top. I do have skinny arms however. What I do is take the alternator off and reach back from the front of the engine bay. My arm will just barely fit between the manifold and wheel well. However I have yet to figure out how to get to #2, even with the alternator off. The only one I do from underneath is #7.

the entire drivers side is easily done from the bottom, at least on my car with headers. takes 15 minutes tops. #2 and 4 are bastards, with my big hands i climb on top of the motor and give them the reach around. whole plug change is done in less than an hour. i have headers tho, fwiw

Which fuel filter are you changing, the one by the tank or the one in the engine bay?

Man, I know my LT1 really well and I don't even know of one in the engine bay. So either you're an idiot and think there is one, or you're an *** and trying to confuse That_guy.

For the record, when I first learned about cars, I didn't know motors came with cam shafts. When my friend said he was going to cam his car, I talked about it at lunch with a friend and I was like "No it doesn't have a cam right now, so he's going to add one" lol A long way have I come. Everyone started somewhere, just most of us didn't have the internet to make a fool of ourselves on when doing it.

I worked at a parts store, and I remember them being only like $2 more >_> I do prefer Chilton's. Same company now from what I remember.
