Default thermostat

My thermostat went bad on my 96 lt1. what kind should I upgrade to.

i have a hyptertech 160 t-stat...no problems in the 3000 miles its been on there...

Ditto on the 160!

My temps now never exceed 185!

Of course, the PCM was tuned by PCM4Less as well!

I threw in a 160 in my V6 and no b/s it actually dropped the temp without a tune or anything. Everyone says don't go that low without a tune but I m with you guys I never see over 190 even sitting in traffic!

i have a 160,my heater is not very warm now,i'm probably gonna switch back to a stocker for winter

changed the the stat. just went with the stocker. now comes to find out I have a blown head gasket, water on top of my piston. FUUUUCK
