LongTube Install questions
So Im getting some ceramic coated Pacetter LT's and Im wondering what I can do about a cat and connecting to my stock exhaust. No place has any pictures of the Y pipe. I dont want to get everything and figure out that my new hooker catback wont connect to anything. Does the pacestter Y pipe allow me to cut and weld in a magnaflow cat or similar? Are there any flanges to connect my catback to?

Anyone know about airzonas laws? I thought you needed to have the emissions testing done at the place by the DMV. If you can get emissions done at another place with the certificate i would definatly throw these on there and call it good.

LT headers are a pain in the *** to put in, best bet take everything off around them and be paitient. Its going to take some time, but when its done it is all worth it. I recommend some locking header bolts, eliminate a problem before it begins. Just my .02

go to www.lt1howto.com and click on FLP header install, that should give you a general outline...im assuming you're getting rid of the EGR and AIR system and pluggin the holes. Thats the hardest part for me. Couple things i learned during my recent install was.
First thing is the driver side header isn't going in without removing the shift linkage. Also, the passenger side isn't going in without removing the starter and oil dipstick, goes in easy from the bottom after that but you'll have to jack the car up pretty high to slide it in there. I did this with jackstands and a 3 ton race jack. If you have questions ask,i have it all fresh in my head unfortunately...lol
