I talked the guy down to $1800 for everything. I want to deal with this guy because he is local only 5 miles from where I work and all he does is swaps on f-bodys. You may have heard of it youngsfbody.com. He sells a lot of parts that I will neen during the restoration of this car. When I got this car it was trashed. I traded a 89 CRX dx with 235000K and $1000 for it.
f body motorsports prices were pretty high i remember. haperry678 i got a shortblock shipped to me by r+l carriers from florida to chicago for 150 so if you can get someone to ship a motor or trans etc to you for cheaper considering i got it shipped across the us for only 150. i say you got pretty good deal if you traded that car for a 97 v6 plus 1000 if its in good shape and running. if you are up for it go ahead by all mean just the one thing i would do if i was you i would take everything else except the trans lower the price even lower for everything and get a working trans for around 300 from somewhere
