Gas Gauge Problem
Gas Gauge Problem Ever since i got my walbro 255 in, my gas mileage has been horrific. It takes 40 miles to go from 3/4 to E. If i put $10 in at E, the meter will shoot up a little past 1/2. I dont understand this. Theres no way im running this rich. Possibility the sender is bad?
After I put in the walbro 255 in my car it will run out at 1/4. When I fill it up all the way I end up only being able to put in 10 gallons. That and I bent the filler where the cap screws on and if i turn right I get gas on the side of my car.

I believe the LTx are 15.5gal and the LSx are 17gal tanks. I'm pretty sure on the LTx size.
I explained to Razor on AIM that it's just how GM gauges/sending units work. All my GM vehicles drop like a rock after 1/2 tank.
