O2 sensor question
O2 sensor question alright i throw a code for a bad o2 sensor... and i was just wondering... how many o2 sensors are on a 94 formula? and arent they/it/whatever it is located before the cat on my car?
What sensor is bad? It could have anywhere from 2 to 4 sensors. The code scanner should give you a code for that specific one (bank 1 or 2 etc.). I don't know where exactly it will be on you're car mine had 2 before and 2 after the cats (dual cat system). A Chilton or Haynes manual will give you an exact location, or you could just look at the exhaust!
k... well i had it scanned by a mechanic and that costed me some $ because he was tryin to find out what pulley was bad on my car when i first got it... and that was one of the codes that came up... can i have auto zone or somewhere like that do this and get the code for it? or will i have to go back to him and pay for it again?
