Default Anyone have rear end covers for the 10 Bolt??

I know a lot of you guys have changed rear ends, and im just wondering if anyone has used one of thunder racings rear end covers or jegs and if you guys were happy with it.

I dont plan on changing and was trying to find out if these are worth the money, hell maybe one of you guys will have one collecting dust if you upgraded and would like to get rid of it

Putting a girdle on the 7.5" is about like polishing a turd, still a turd after. Money is probably better spent on suspension to avoid wheelhop which is the quickest way to kill the 7.5".

Suspension wise i run adj panhard, and I manufactured my own lower control arms with poly bushings, I dont have any wheel hop, just seeing if it was worth it to run one.

I make alot of my own parts because I have the resources to, and I enjoy machine work and fabricating after all I am going to school for machinist tech, and tool and die making lol

If i knew someone that had one I would write the program and stick it in the fadal but no one has one, and cast is more practical for this dick.

Don't skip on the cover if you're trying to keep the 10 bolt together as long as possible. We use Moser Engineering covers to reduce the amount of ring gear deflection in hopes of keeping it together longer. Not to mention the fact that it looks so much better than your stocker!

We sell the moser units for $160 shipped.

I've got one, it's a Summitt brand and has been under the car for about 6 years. I don't think it can possibly hurt anything until I get a 12 bolt

I've got one, but it's for an 8.5" 10 bolt . Mine was a summit unit. I milled the words SUMMIT off and had it powdercoated

I had the Summit one on my 10 bolt and now on my 12 bolt....I like the Summit one better than others because the Summit comes with nice stainless ARP 12 point fasteners and the fill hole is in a better spot to reach..and when the fluid dribbles out you're full...Some of the others have the fill hole too high and the PHB gets in the way when filling and you can also easily overfill the rear if you are not careful...

As far as having it on a 10 bolt...I had one because fluid changes were very quick and easy...I'm not sure if it added any strength to the 10 bolt...

If you have a welder, could've to just easily manufact your own out of some flat steel up and over, and then bolts to the 2 bolt holes on either side? Then if you want to copy those others more, take that triangular section and weld it on as well.

I REALLY like how Buffs turned out!! Is that spackle gun-metal?

Also, they look mean when you're behind the person and you see that ;P Even if the car is fully stock it kinda implies "I mean bidnezz "
